A Poem From Mom

The Battle of Generations

Someone sent this to me the other day.
No explanation is necessary.

Poem from MOM

My son came home from school one day, With a smirk upon his face.
He decided he was smart enough, To put me in my place.

'Guess what I learned in Civics Two, that's taught by Mr. Wright?
It's all about the laws today, The 'Children's Bill of Rights.'

Lawyer's Court Room Babble

Self Inflicted Verbal Suicide

Disorder in the Court

inkwellThese are from a book called "Disorder in the Court" and are things people actually said in court, word for word, taken down and now published by court reporters that had the torment of staying calm while these exchanges were actually taking place.

ATTORNEY: What was the first thing  your husband said to you that morning?
WITNESS: He said, 'Where am I, Cathy?'
ATTORNEY: And why did that upset you?
   WITNESS: My name is
Susan!
